POD Orthotic has developed a knee brace that effectively delivers upon the needs of today’s rider with its supreme ergonomic fit, intelligent hinge design and unprecedented comfort.- POD Orthotic developed a revolutionary motocross knee brace that addresses the specific needs of motocross riders. At the core of the design is the unique POD thermo-plastic urethane (TPU) hinge tendon which effortlessly supports the motocross rider’s knee’s natural range of motion without compromising a rider’s feel for the motorcycle.
- HINGE TECHNOLOGY - 15 degree "hinge extension stop" housings which controls the locking angle of the brace to help prevent hyperextension and provides maximum medial and lateral protection. Customize the brace with 12.5°, 17.5° and 20° stop housings (sold separately and easily installed). The TPU tendon is also replaceable when exposed to a serious impact or force.
- CARBON FIBER COMPOSITE - low-profile frame conforms to you, your riding gear and your bike. Two full layers of carbon fiber enhance structural integrity with total weight at only 660gms/1.46lbs (med).
- SELF TRACKING PATELLA GUARD - connected to the hinge assembly which transfers an impact away from the knee cap and into the brace. (Patents pending)
- MAXIMUM COMFORT + AIR FLOW - thermo-formed pressure point padding for comfort and removable vented foam liner keeps you cool.
- CUSTOMIZE THE FIT - Adjustable strap lengths, strap and hinge padding. Optional brace locking angles (12.5°, 15.0°, 17.5°, 20.0°).
